And Everything is Still - TUBA AND PIANO £8.50

Andy Scott was commissioned by the Royal Northern College of Music, Manchester UK, to compose a work for a concert marking the retirement of RNCM Principal, Professor Edward Gregson in 2008. And Everything is Still was inspired by a poem by Lemn Sissay from his children’s book, The Emperor’s Watch Maker. A simple melody unravels alongside a calm and gentle atmosphere. Originally scored for Flute and Piano, Andy has arranged the piece for tuba for his friend and virtuoso performer Les Neish. Recorded by Les Neish & Martyn Parkes (piano) on the CD 'Shine' (Doyen CD274)
